CodingMarble Typing does not ask you to create an account. What you type in a test is processed in your browser only and is never uploaded.
What is stored
Your settings, test history, lesson progress, personal bests and per-key statistics are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. You can export or delete them from the My progress page, or by clearing your browser's site data.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. They are not used for advertising.
Fonts
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a font file is downloaded.
Advertising and cookies
This site is free to use and is paid for by advertising. We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies or similar technology to show and measure those ads. Where the law requires it, you are asked for consent before any such cookie is set. You can turn off personalised ads for your Google account at adssettings.google.com, and read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Ads are the only third-party code on the site. We do not sell your data, and nothing you type in a test is shared with advertisers.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, your browser gives us a subscription address so we can send occasional reminders and updates, such as a new lesson or game. You can turn them off any time in your browser's site settings. Notifications are optional and the site works fully without them.
