These terms cover your use of CodingMarble Typing at typing.codingmarble.com — the typing speed tests, the A–Z typing lessons, the typing games, the exam simulators and the small tools around them. By using the site you accept them.
What the service is
CodingMarble Typing is a free typing speed test and typing tutor. You can measure speed in words per minute (WPM), characters per minute (CPM) and accuracy over 1 to 10 minutes, print a typing certificate with your result, learn touch typing from the home row up, and practise in English, Hindi and more than 40 other languages, including Inscript and Remington layouts that work on an ordinary keyboard. There is no account and no sign-up.
Free and provided as it is
Everything here is free and is provided as it is, without any warranty. Speeds, scores, certificates and exam simulations are practice aids, not official results. The exam simulators (CPCT, SSC, court and other government typing tests) follow published patterns as closely as we can, but they are not run by any exam authority and your score here does not predict or replace an official one. Check anything important against the official notification before you rely on it.
What you may not do
Please do not use the site for anything illegal, do not try to break, overload or probe it, do not scrape it in bulk or run automated traffic against it, and do not republish our passages, lessons or page text as your own. You may link to any page freely, and you may use your own results, including your certificate, however you like.
Your results and your device
Your history, lesson progress, personal bests and settings live in your own browser, so clearing your browser data deletes them and we cannot restore them. If a result matters to you, print or export it from the My progress page.
Changes
We add, change and sometimes remove tests, lessons, games and tools as the site grows, and these terms may be updated along with them. The date above shows when they last changed.
Advertising
The site is paid for by ads from Google AdSense. How that works with cookies is explained on our privacy page.
